Christ For All Of Life
Favicon - St Paul's Anglican Church & School, Melbourne FL

Our Parish Life and Ministry

Our ministry teams, programs, and fellowship groups are how you and your family get involved and get to know other parishioners at Saint Paul's.

Saint Paul’s Classical School

Saint Paul’s Classical School is a K–12 classical Christian school that forms students in wisdom and virtue through a rigorous and joyful, Christ-centered education. The school is an integral part of our parish’s mission to hand on the faith to the next generation.

Angels in the Attic Thrift Shop

Angels in the Attic is our parish thrift shop, offering quality donated goods at affordable prices and providing a visible Christian witness in the community. Proceeds support the mission and ministry of Saint Paul’s.

Acolyte Guild

The Acolyte Guild assists the clergy at the altar and in processions, helping to lead the parish in reverent worship. Boys and men who are interested in serving as acolytes receive training in the duties of service at the Mass and other liturgies.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild prepares and cares for the sacred vessels, linens, and vestments used in our worship. Members serve behind the scenes to ensure that the altar and sanctuary are made ready for the offering of the Holy Sacrifice.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers…”

The Acts of the Apostles 2:42

Choir

The choir leads congregational singing and offers sacred music that adorns the liturgy and lifts our hearts to God. Singers with a desire to serve through music are invited to speak with our Organist and Choirmaster about becoming part of this ministry.

Hospitality

Our hospitality ministry helps to make Saint Paul’s a warm and welcoming parish home, especially through coffee hours, potlucks, and festal celebrations. Those with gifts for cooking, hosting, or simply making others feel at home are encouraged to take part.

Ushering

Ushers greet worshippers, assist with seating, distribute bulletins, and help collect the offering. They provide a friendly first point of contact for visitors and help maintain an atmosphere of prayerful order during the liturgy.

Saint Paul’s Women

Saint Paul’s Women’s group meets once a month for supper and fellowship, and to help encourage one another. All women of the parish are invited to participate in this ministry of mutual support and service.

Jesus said, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”

Revelation 21:6

Sunday Catechesis for All Ages

On Sundays we offer catechesis (teaching) for children, youth, and adults to help the whole parish grow in the knowledge and love of God. Our children’s formation uses Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-inspired approach that invites children into a deep, prayerful relationship with Jesus Christ. We also offer new members’ and inquirers’ classes to introduce the Anglican Catholic faith, sacraments, and life at Saint Paul’s.

Wednesday Evening Fellowship

On Wednesday evenings we gather for a shared meal and Bible study. This time of food, fellowship, and teaching helps us to grow together as a parish family as we listen to Holy Scripture and learn to apply the faith in our daily lives.
